Piano is an musical instrument which produces sound by striking steel strings with a fabric hammer that allows the string to vibrate. These vibrations are transmitted through the bridges to the soundboard which amplifies them. Piano is often expensive and not portable, its versatility and ubiquity has made it among the most important musical instruments. Piano is mostly used in western music for a solo performance and is very popular as an aid to composing and rehearsal. Piano is an complicated instruments with over 2,500 parts, its action is still more complicated and includes keys, hammers and mechanism. Piano was first invented by the Italian named Bartolomeo Cristofori in Florence during the 17th century. The word piano is derived from the Italian name Pianoforte.
HAYDN

Frank Joseph Haydn was born on 31st march 1732 in Rohrau, Austria. He is one of the most significant composers of the classical period and he is called as "Father of the String Quartet'' and "Father of the Symphony". Joseph Haydn was the brother of Michael Haydn who also was highly regarded as a composer. As a child Haydn was musically talented and his parents knew this very well and so they decided that Haydn should learn music. Therefore they sent Haydn to Johann Matthias Franck one of the choirmaster in hainburg to be trained as a musician. As he began taking lessons he soon began playing both Harpsichord and Violin. Haydn's fortunes began to turn in the late1750's, when the members of the Vienna's noble family became aware of his music they sent him to work for the Ester hazy family. There he began writing many of his instrumental compositions and operas for performance at their vast summer palace. As a result he became famous and he was considered as the greatest living composer.
