Modern Piano

During the period 1790 to 1860, there was a lot changes in the Mozart era piano which underwent a lot of changes. These changes came into play due to the industrial revolution which made drastic technological changes in the piano. The transformation that was led by the industrial revolution gave importance to the pianos with technological additions. There are two types of modern pianos with two basic configurations and they are grand pianos and upright pianos. The distinction can easily be made between grand piano and upright piano. The grand piano has the frames and the strings placed horizontally and in the upright pianos the frames and strings are placed vertically also they are more compact. The grand pianos are large and bulky whereas the upright are not so bulky as compared to the grand ones. The digital pianos placed its first feet in 1980. This made a lot of technological change in the piano instruments. In each piano note there is reproduction of the musical note. Then in the course of time the introduction of the silence pianos came into play and thus it could convert it to a digital instrument and this became the main reason behind the popularity of this set. There were also changes in the keyboard, pedals and other materials.

The changes that were brought due to the industrial revolution in the piano gave a good impact to the remodeling of the modern piano. The piano with its fine tuning came into a lot of popularity and gained importance among the kids with the introduction of the digital pianos. Thus it led this suddenly with its new specifications and the rise of the piano stars.
