The Bridges function is primary as to transmit the sound of the Strings to the Soundboard which is the amplifier. Nickel plated tuning pins which is rust resistant as well as beautiful are used in the stringing process. A Pin block is a very crucial part of the piano it holds the tuning pins tight. The cast iron Harp or a Frame is meticulously refinished which in the restoration industry is called reguilding.
